TALEGGIO

from £4.00
  • CASARRIGONI - LOMBARDY, ITALY

  • COW

  • UNPASTEURISED

A cheese often assigned solely to the kitchen, rather than granted a spot on a cheeseboard. Made with raw milk from several small local farms, by the village co-operative, right in the heart of Val Taleggio. Made by hand in small batches, a world away from it’s mass-produced siblings. The rosy, washed rind encases a fruity, creamy, slightly acidic and silky interior.

All of our cheeses are cut fresh to order. We aren’t robots, so weights will vary slightly from what you may have ordered. We shall of course do our best!
